Ezekiel 1:1-2:1: The priest Ezekiel had a vision of God while in exile along the river Chebar in Babylon. Meanwhile the regular people were back in Israel and Judah tilling the soil. That's the story I want to hear, not about the elites in Babylon.
Acts 10:23b-33: Peter goes to see Cornelius and says, usually it is not normal for a Jew to associate with gentiles, but God has shown him that no one is profane or unclean. This is a lesson we're still trying to learn 2000 years later.
