Exodus 5:10-23: Pharaoh makes the Israelites make bricks without straw. Israelites are mad at Moses because he made Pharaoh mad. Moses mad at God for causing the whole situation..... Israelites are a tight group, but I wonder if a few here and there snuck off during the night during the 400 years in Egypt, because they were fed up and wanted to go home.
Psalm 91 1-2, 9-16: God says, stick with me and I'll watch over you.
Acts 7:30-34: Stephen mentions Moses in his speech before his stoning. He talks about the the burning bush and how God told Moses, I've seen my people's suffering and is sending Moses to Egypt to rescue them..... But they've been there 400 years and God is just noticing. Is he like a comet, just coming in the neighborhood every so many years???
