Jesus

Last weekend was the first Easter, I didn't believe Jesus was crucified and resurrected. I got to thinking that why would they let a violent revolutionary like Barrabas go and crucify Jesus? I think they crucified Barabbas. I'm not even sure Jesus got down to Jerusalem much if any time. How could a poor carpenter from Nazareth afford that? And Jesus had good ideas, why would he care what was going on in that cesspool of Jerusalem? God doesn't care about temples and sacrifices. He's into helping widows and orphans and the poor among us and being nice to neighbors. Jesus got sucked into this Christianity thing because Paul somehow synthesized Jesus' ideas of community with Barabbas' crucifixion, in my humble opinion.
