Justin Amash
Justin Amash is trying to get the Libertarian nomination for President. He might not get it as some Libertarians think he's kind of late to the table. But if he gets it, I will vote for him. The two things I like about him is he won't have any foreign wars without a Congressional declaration of war. And also, he believes Congress makes the laws and the President executes them. He wouldn't be making all these executive declarations without Congressional approval.
Bible
The Bible was put together in 325 AD at council of Nicea. Seems like it's about time for a rewrite. I've written my own Bible and gospel, which are in previous posts. Seems like the older I get, the more I revise my thoughts on religious ideas. The Bible as it is now is hierarchical. Top down. Seems like in a democracy, things ought to be more bottom up.
Cinco de Mayo
Cinco de Mayo today and not much going on with the virus shutdowns. We're going to get a Taco Grande pizza from Papa Murphy's. It's their best pizza but they only make it in May.

Prayer
I don't believe in the common definition of God, but I believe in prayer. Some might ask,"how does that work?" I ask myself sometimes, so I'll try to answer here.
Most people say God is outside the universe and that God created everything. Some people look at the Big Bang as the creation moment. People will give human attributes to God. Like God loves you, he cares for you, he demands justice. How do you know these things? The only way people might know is if the people telling you this show you love and caring. Or people might say it's in the Bible. But how do you know if this is true except that people say so. Seems if it was true it would be written across the sky. Also, this is a top down version of the universe. People who believe this, tend to believe in hierarchical religion, corporations and politics with an upper elite controlling things and this hasn't worked out well for the world.
I believe in an infinite universe that has existed forever. Some astrophysicists believe in this construct. They think there is a virtual energy field in the vacuum. Virtual particles continually pop into existence and coalesce to form matter. In this construct, God can be the sum total of everything in the universe. God could be called Infinity. When you think or pray, the electrochemical impulses in you brain, are broadcast out into the universe. Some might say the skull would block these impulses, but there are enough openings in the skull, like the eye sockets, nose and jaw for them to get out. There is no guarantee that the impulses will be acknowledged or acted upon, but I can live with that. And there is enough anecdotal evidence of thoughts being acknowledged and acted upon, that it works for me. And it works with my bottom up view of the universe.
